Although any clear information has not been determined about the first settlement in the area, there are evidences that location had been used as a residential area dates back to the ancient ages. This is why the lands of Beypazarı, which was dominated by different civilizations, carries traces of the history of different cultures accumulated throughout history. The history of Beypazarı, of which Evliya Çelebi couldn't resist to mention in his famous travelogue "Seyahatname", lives on these different civilizations.
