Ayazini (Frost House) Town has been a residential area since the Phrygian era. Excavations made in the area reveals also artifacts from the Roman and Byzantium eras.
Since the village lies within the Phrygian Valley, a rock tomb leaning on a house, or a Phrygian habitat carved in a stone of those ages around the houses can be witnessed easily. The sights here is usually in harmony with the historic texture.
Phrygians created their living habitat by carving the tuff stones. Because of the volcanic structure of the area, the tuff stones are in a soft texture, which enabled the Phrygians to carve easily their residents, which are not only beautiful but also interesting and must-see.
The Avdalaz Castle, another important structure in the Phrygian Valley, is an interesting construction example with its technique, which was the connection of the multilayer areas by digging and carving.
Ayazini Village, a village nested with history, is registered as a protected area since it has the richest collection of the Phrygian artifacts as a town. Thus, every bit of a work that is or will be done in the town is regulated and supervised by the High Council of Monuments.
